Nah, wouldn't want him to be honest. Past it now, as we saw when he played us last year. Plus, the only position he would be playing first choice is Stand Off, and I think that we need to be lucking at classier, younger players for this role to compliment Ben Black.

Regardless who they bring in - you have to have faith in MC and MH. If they want them in the squad then they will be ok by me.

Would have thought Matt Calland would be building our team to take us up to Super League, if Wobbie is old now he certainly will be too old in 2 yrs time. When you see him play he is just going through the motions really.

I'd rather have players in the side who are at their prime (even if they are never going to quite be Super League Players) or youngsters who can go onto better things, than a team full of Old Men looking for one last payday (Like Oldham)

beswick has the kicking game and the general good play for that spot but it would be good to goet robbie paul beswick doesnt play 6 i dont think but he defonately could do if needed.

Personally would be disappointed in signing him as he has been past it for atleast 2 years now even with Salford. I think we should be looking to maybe use young Bowman more as if you are good enough you are old enough! There is not too many good British Stand Offs around. Sure he will make mistakes but get him playing now instead of later.

Sounds a bit daft, and could rile the Haven fans, but we could make a bid to loan him next season. Huddersfield may be keen for him to relocate to Yorkshire, and we could offer him 1st team rugby...

That is a super plan, and is extremely realistic too! That would really annoy the Haven fans!

Realistically they would expect to be without him anyway from the start of next season so they couldnt complain...but they would of course!
