He certainly gave 100%, all the time at Leigh. Even when the side was decimated by outgoings and injuries, he was there leading from the front and playing as though it truly meant something to him. Which is why it was such a tragedy that he didn't get paid what he was owed.

He will go well for you. Nice signing!

Didn't expect to see that position be added to to be honest but that's a Good signing that. Along with QLT we might be finally getting that little touch of quality.

You would think that Grady and Larroyer would now be 1st choice second rowers. Wonder where that leaves butler?

KL is a glutton for work. He managed 75 or 80 minutes in just about every game he played for Leigh.

There is certainly going to be competition for places next year to even get a bench spot. The bod certainly appear to have spent what they could on the squad . I hope RM is ruthless in selection and drops the old pals act . We have reason to be confident going into the season if we have a fit and healthy team at the start of it.

Agree,the challenge now for RM is to pick the right team and keep a squad with depth happy and raring to go when selected.The likes of Murrell/Grix etc who can't do 80 mins each week,can be utilised sparingly for maximum effect.Can't wait....

Aye, really looking forward to the new season. In the past few years it's been a case of here we are let's see what we can do but now the bar has risen and expectations will be higher. Let's hope that together we can achieve something really good this season. Up The Fax!

Pete, this a very good signing for Fax, for me Larroyer is a good player, won't let you down, has a knack of being in the right place at the right time.I'm sorry to see him go, but at least we can move on now, as I believe Rhys Evans is about to have his problems sorted as well.
Hopefully we can now announce a New Coach, and some new signings as well.

Im not sure it's actually been announced but League express are usually pretty spot on when it comes to transfer news

With the squad assembled by the Bod and RM , looks strong, does that mean Fax will not be looking to actively use the D R system this year?
The sooner that that it is scrapped the better for my p o v.

The squad is shaping up really nicely and we look to have strength in depth. In an ideal world I guess I'd like another big prop and a centre but other than that we have made some useful signings. It will be interesting to see how Marshall handles a big squad as the last time he had so many players at his disposal it was a bit of a disaster.

Using DR would be a smack in the face to our reserve lads and every player at Fax.

Is there still a possibility of signing Will Maher permanently, as he loved it at Fax and don't think he'll ever become a 1st team Cas player. And will Baldwinson cut it at Wakey?

How did we afford to take Leighs top earner? Is it possible that they're still paying part of his wages in order to get him off their books?

I thought Acton was their biggest earner. I'm probably wrong but I thought that Larroyer stuck to his guns to ensure that he got what contract money he was owed. Can't blame him, especially after what happened to him at HKR

That’s how I understand it as well Charlie, just a strong rumour at this time, we’ll just have to wait and see.

What I will say is that I very much doubt he will be staying at Leigh and that I don’t see many SL clubs queueing up for his services.
