As much as it is sad to see people lose their jobs, should not the senior players be looking to take more of a hands on role within the club.
They are the guys who are at the sharp end week in week out, therefore should be able to see the errors being made on the field, given the responsibility they can put them right immediately not wait for the coach to send a message on the field.
Players would also know that the advice/encouragement being given is only coming from one source.
Is it possible there were too many chiefs anyway?
