Ouch that hurt we should have seen a very tight and yes at times boring game out but we made two inexcusable knock on's then after some good defence we switched off letting was it Miles run deep and get a good pass out wide for them to nick it at the death.
Blimey I never saw that coming but we don't seem to create, yes Batley played well better than I expected but we had them in our pocket before that last play try.
Got to ask why do our half backs look to pass rather than run with the ball plus is it me or is Ben Kaye a waste of space?
Only good things were Tyrer made some good yards and Potts is a decent fullback but is he wasted there?
No wonder the Batley fans were ecstatic quite a few came over, weird it must be half of their home support.

Only player that made yards and looked to offload for us is a loan player as for the rest.... Murrell saw us coming signing a 3 year contract....I could go on...

Was really impressed by Tommy Saxton today by far our best player IMO. But I think that we really missed Fieldhouse at fullback.

Saxton worked his socks off but we don't seem to be looking for any offloads so he had nobody to pass to when he did at times get the ball free ready to pass, again what are they coached just to let the player run and take the tackle and a 'quick' play the ball which rarely happens?
Batley did slip the ball out in the tackle more times than we managed, okay we did well defensively for most of the game but you have to create and I agree we don't look very creative, Scott is too slow his show and go is too predictable teams read it and knock him down. Where are our hookers in the game, they don't seem to do anything?
