Quote ="Trustafox"Can't understand any fan boycotting a game. Just seems completely alien to me. Firstly, why choose to miss one of your own teams games? Secondly, why add something to fuel an increasing strain in the relationship between 2 clubs? Do we really want to get to a point of Fev vs Fax needing a ridiculous amount of extra policing every season because our fans can't manage to watch a game of rugby in a civilised manner?'"
totally agree, its pathetic that people are going to miss the game, its not just Featherstone "fans", a lot of our "fans" we're causing trouble, some maybe more that the Fev ones, unfair to tarnish everybody with the same brush.
If people want to miss the game then its up to them but i think they are making it worse, going on about it and kicking up a fuss makes it more likely for something to happen, if we just forget about it things will probably blow over!!
We had trouble a few years back at Widnes with them bricking the supporters coach window but no one boycotted that game and there has been no major trouble since, its rugby league fgs!
Btw i use the term fan in the loosest possible way.
