Agreed and you will see an increase in public spending - so again not all bad and the tax reductions to the high earners will disappear too

| New Tory leader, coming soon ?
The main issue now will be what effect running a coalition/minority government will have on our Brexit negotiations and if/when there will be another election (neither party can run a meaningful government for any length of time with the numbers as they are) and what further effect this will have on Brexit.
No deal is looking somewhat more likely.

Soft Brexit? With Jacob Rees Mogg and the DUP holding the balance of power, I wouldn't bank on it.
May was trying to sideline the nuttier elements of her own Party as well as deliver an electoral smackdown to Labour. zero from two on that.

| mrs may speaking outside Downing Street, never mentioned the disastrous election result. Very strange indeed, now forming a government with the dup. All well and good for her, but she needs to be more concerned with getting support from her back benches. She is obviously toxic now to the tories. Unlikely but one never knows ,would be Gerry Adams and his buddies taking seats in parliament. As they are pals with jezza and hate the dup ,if this occurs then the tories are finished.

For the tail wagging the dog poster, should we put May in the pocket of Arlene Foster or Nigel Dodds?
No, me either. Let's find out more:

Yes, they may have most seats but, T. May is now a lame duck, all credibility gone and if her plan was to strengthen her bargaining position with the EU, it has backfired spectacularly.
The movers and shakers in the EU are laughing at her as well as the UK and with the disruption of another election, right in the middle of EU negotiations, who know's where we will end up.
If it wasn't such a shambles and important to all of our futures, it would be utterly hilarious.
If they make another 5 years, without another election, I'll show my ![MOON icon_moon.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_moon.gif) on Huddersfield town hall steps.

She can pretend it didn't happen all she likes - but we saw. It was on the telly and everything.
She demanded an election she'd said she wouldn't call, to gain a mandate to pursue something she'd previously opposed, and then blew it.

Just about sums it up. I note that several of the eu countries are now emerging from recession, whilst our economy is slowing down. Not the strongest position for us to start brexit negotiations. Should imagine we will witness several moths of Tory infighting, accompanied by a barrage of labour taunts.

And an election and all whilst the Brexit clock is ticking.
Her and Cameron will certainly be remembered, for screwing the country over.

Apart from the Iraq war, Blair presided over the country in one of its most prosperous periods, so how you can say they are better than him is beyond belief.

Well, Cameron was so certain that we would remain in Europe that, he agreed to a referendum and lost.
May was so certain that she would win a landslide victory that, despite saying several times "There will be no snap election", she went to the country so that they could approve her Brexit plans, oh yeah, and she was found severely wanting.
How she has the audacity to stay on, is beyond me.
Any decent person would resign. Mind you she's clearly deluded and not exactly trustworthy.
How do you know when T.May is telling lies, yes, she opens her mouth.
