He's not the brightest though, he wondered why they were booed, playing Hail to England in Glasgow isn't the smartest move ![Smile icon_smile.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_smile.gif)

The band I manage are in the competition to win a support slot with MCFLY on future tour. Not a fan of the mcfly but a pretty good opportunity for them if they had the opportunity.
Voting requires a facebook profile, if you could vote, it would be greatly appreciated!

| A day of The Waterboys' Fisherman's Blues Collectors Edition today. It is just stunning.
Also listening to their latest effort, "An Appointment with Mr Yates." Taking the poetry of Yates and applying it to music. It is just stunning!

| Saw Arctic Monkeys at the Echo Arena last night. They've truly arrived as a major league band, it's been great to watch them evolve.
Also, kudos to The Vaccines for putting in a killer support set.

| It's obvious to me that hanging around with Josh Homme has rubbed off on them. They are a more darker band these days and their song writing has developed beyond the simple formula that got them their popularity in the first place. It'll be interesting to see what they produce in the next few years.

| Alex hasn't been the same since he left The Amphetameanies.....
Sulking now because I missed The Aggrolites with Jeremiah Ferrari in support in Manchester the other night, and apparently it was an outstanding gig.

| Download is shaping up nicely, Metallica performing The Black Album and a Black Sabbath reunion with a new album out, Soundgarden on the Friday would top that off nice.

This.
Singing songs about teenagers hanging around getting drunk on cider, in a reet broad Yorkshire accent, doesn't ring true once you're no longer teenagers and more likely to be spending your evenings in VIP areas of exclusive bars than swigging Mad Dog 20/20 outside the local offie.
They had to evolve to avoid becoming a parody, and they've done it with some style IMO.

This please
Reading headliners rumoured as The Prodigy, Green Day and Foo Fighters, that's enough to put me off already.

Bit of a boring choice but Green Day haven't played there in a while, mind they all do put on a good show.
Always plenty to do if you don't like the headliners.

Aye, saw Foo Fighters headline already this year and Prodigy played in 2009, so those two are boring. I used to like Green Day when I was like 10, but don't care for them anymore really. I can't but think if they were the headliners, then the undercard would be terrible, as they'll be pretty expensive headliners.

| For those of you who keep picking up on ska releases, the new Do The Dog compilation (This Are UK Ska 4) is more than worth the £7 entrance fee... Tracks from Smoke Like A Fish, Inter City Crazy Train, Jeremiah Ferarri, Miaca, Rebelation, Too Many Crooks and a load of other ones...

| Today, I gracefully announce my retirement from moshing. After being the oldest guy throwing down at A Day To Remember last night, I am too bloody sore to carry on.
On a musical note, ADTR we superb as ever, August Burns Red were very good, and The Ghost Inside were quite good too, if lacking a presence on stage.

I seem to recall a small bunch of teenage girls lining up outside the o2 Academy at 7.45am the morning of this gig. I couldn't believe it when I walked passed the venue on my way to work.
