My favourite OGG was the one with the insane racist survivalist who chased one of the team in a tank, or the one on the island with Donna Air. It was a great show.

The one that i remember well was the boxing episode.

The office does owe a bit too OGG and one of my other TV fave shows from late 90's 'People Like Us'.

The finale to Homeland was somewhat disappointing.

i think im correct, a lot of the cast were also in the film " love,honour obey". cracking film, hilarious at times.
OGG is a classic series. brilliant.

Can't say I'll be on the edge of my seat waiting for it to come back. Why build something up for 12 weeks to let it fizzle out like that? Not good.

I haven't seen any of it, but that sounds like par for the course for US TV when it comes to any highly publicised series.

Its a really bad habit of theirs, to hype up a programmes first series and then drag out that series to a massively overlong 5 or 6 seasons, by which time the whole thing has become a huge anti-climatic disappointment (see Heroes, Lost, etc).

Its come to a stage where I no longer bother with these type of programmes.....It just seems a massive waste of time for, ulitimately, a big let-down.

The bird currently doing the snooker refereeing on BBC2 would be a decent ride I reckon. A bit hard faced but a dominatrix type I'd say. No bra on either. Fair play.

The excellent 'Great Ormond Street' was back for a new series on BBC last night. The doctor attempting to convince the mother not to send her dying child to an American clinic was especially tough viewing.

Yes WIZEB I watched the programme, very heart wrenching viewing in parts. The decisions by parents and the clinical staff are so tough it is difficult to imagine yourself being in such a situation.

Agreed Dave. When the female doctor was trying to explain how much toxicity you can put into their bodies, whilst trying to save them and the fine line between killing them with it, was eye-opening. She openly admitted that she didn't know herself. You have to be a special person to do that kind of work, day in, day out. There isn't a 'God' but those at the top end of the medical profession are as close as you're going to get. Lives in their hands.

There is a God - its was God who made the kid ill in the first place, and its Him who lets doctors tinker around with his dreadful diseases until they can do no more and he claims back the young life, like a cat playing with a mouse.

He's a right vindictive barsteward sometimes.

I shall iPlayer that program tonight, last night I was busy listening to hour-long radio interviews with an ex paraplegic olympic athlete and a Wakefield doctor who had but a few months to live having refused to continue with her aggressive chemo to hold back her terminal cancer - inspiring radio programming.

All the while the wife was watching BGT in the other room, some people just ignore great programming.
