I've embarked on these things before.... like Lost, Heroes etc and I quickly ran out of patience. I suspect that I wasn't alone either.

I only managed one episode of Heroes and I never fancied Lost at all. I have watched all 8 seasons of 24 though, and I still loved it even when it became a bit tired and predictable.

Saw her give the old box the flannel treatment in the first episode. Did she give it another go in the second? Don't know why they had to show that. Does it add to the storyline? I'd rather give the dark piece a portion. You can't blame her for getting a good rattling whilst hubby was incarcerated. Can you?

Watched the 1st episode, as you say, interesting premise, but the fact I've now got episodes 2,3 and possibly 4 on the Sky+ unwatched says a lot about the chances of me sticking with it.

There's a thread on the VT mate. He played for Batley, although not in the first team at any point. He was wish us between 1991-93, and made quite a few appearances in the Alliance set-up. Never played for anyone other pro clubs. At the time, I remember thinking he was pretty unlucky not to be given a chance in the first team squad.

I'm enjoying Homeland so far and I've managed to watch the first 6 episodes. Some of the twists are quite predictable (like the whole thing with him doing the prayers at the end of episode 2 - saw that coming a mile off) - I think it's quite similar to 24 and I'm expecting more 'shocks' along the way. I get the feeling that everything is going to point to him having been turned into a terrorist, only for it to be revealed to be the complete opposite.
