When's the next instalment? Some interesting looking films so far, a fair few of which I've not heard of!

| Watched The Debt last night. Quite a good film, but 1 you was left feeling could have been better, with the last quarter being a bit too far fetched for my liking.
Still enjoyable enough way to spend 2 hours.
7.5/10.... would have been an 8 if Helen Mirren had got her kit off....

| Quote ="McClennan"I enjoyed it. It was well-paced and tries to be honest too (how honest I guess you can't say). Worth a look defo. Should also say I can recommend [iEllie Parker[/i if you haven't seen it, starring Watts. One of the best things she's done for me.'"
Tried Fair Game last night based on your recommendation - enjoyed it very much, as you say, well-paced and seems to be an honest recount of events. One frustration, the main character goes from a dynamic operative to a bit of a wet lettuce, and stays useless for a bit too long. Still, a good effort and worth seeing.
Think I may have seen Ellie Parker but if the luverly Ms Watts will be gracing my screen again I'll give it a go just to be sure.

| Just seen that they've released a film about the Yorkshire Ripper. Anyone seen it? Has there been any reaction to it?

Looks like they struggled to get a distributor for it. Haven't heard anything about it although I understand the [iRed Riding Trilogy[/i is the one that gets banded around as the best on the story. Trailer looks okay and the director seems to know what he's doing so I'll keep an eye out for reviews. It's out at the end of the month.

| I went to see ‘Real Steel’ last night at the cinemas and it’s a night of my life I’ll never get back. The VIP seat that I was sat on clearly had a button somewhere that’d make my cinematic experience more comfortable as I just couldn't settle into it. My mate decided to sneak in a king’s feast and ended up dropping his Cornish pasty all over my lap. To top things off the smell of his mayonnaise smells still lingers in my nostrils.
Very unpleasant indeed and it meant that I couldn’t enjoy the film that was on

I came across your number 56 on terrestrial tv, late one night, a few years back.
It's a beauty.
Like the sound of [iTerror's Advocate.[/i
May have to go in search of that one.

Very much enjoying your list thank you, I've bought a few films from it, watched "In The Loop" last weekend which was something that had fallen off my radar, funniest film I've seen for quite a while.

| Zodiac is an excellent choice, as you say, perfectly captures the era the killings were happening, pretty much as did Summer of Sam about David Berkovitz.
Not too sure of About Schmidt, thought it took ages to get going. Disappointing to watch after his previous effort, As Good As It Gets. But each to his own.

| Thanks for the feedback folks. Great to hear what you thought even if it created a different response in you. There's certainly a few in the top 50 that are polarising in the feelings they generate so I'll be interested if you take a plunge on one you wouldn't normally go for.

| I watched Machete this week. Balls to wall non-stop blood bath. Pretty decent cast who don't take themselves too seriously.
Highlight for me was when the house blew up and the body landed on the street with the thermometer stuck in his eyeball socket.

| Went to see Paranormal Activity 3 last night.
More of the same really, some real jumpy moments. However, the big shock ending makes no sense in line with the first two films!
