Kirkstaller, do you accept the evidence that at some point in the past your ancestors interbred with Neanderthals?
If not, would you reject the use of a paternity test (if god forbid you found evidence your wife was cheating around the time of your child's conception)? And would you refuse to use DNA evidence to convict someone who committed a crime against you? Because both of these are based on the same scientific principles that proved you are part Neanderthal, thus part animal (using your definition).
