Quote ="Enicomb"How is an wanting a replacement ipod relevant to an ipad? Or do you simply have money to burn and there's no suitable mp3 player available yet so you may as well buy an ipad?
In any case, I would recommend not buying an ipad at all, unless you have some particular desire to use a mobile internet device that is locked down, expensive, requires you to only use one hand and has a touch screen keyboard.
If you just want a mobile internet device, get a laptop.
As for the ipod, I'd suggest simply buying a different brand, more memory, less cost, better product.'"
I'd like a new iPod touch as mines quite old and slow and I wouldn't mind more memory. I use it for a lot more than music so I wouldn't want an mp3 player. I've already got a laptop but I was just looking into the idea of an iPad. The reason I'd get an iPad is if there was no new iPod touch coming out anytime soon. Have you had a bad experience with apple products or do you just hate them on principle?
