Alex Mak now.
I'm genuinely starting to worry that our squad is too big. FFS.
Me too. I suppose a Possible risk of so many PNG players is they don’t acclimatise to UK winter or the style of play over here, in which case lots of cover will be invaluable.

| I get why people are twitchy about the squad getting to big but I honestly can’t remember the last time being a Broncos fan felt this hopeful. After years of scraping by it’s refreshing to see us build something resembling depth rather than cross our fingers till Easter. A couple of the old guard are part time, so it isn’t quite the Galácticos project some are imagining. It’s more finally stocking the cupboard after years of living off Pot Noodles. Most of the PNG lads won’t be on headline money and the acclimatisation worry is fair because a British winter can turn anyone grey, but that’s exactly why having numbers matters. Better to have cover we’ve actually chosen than the usual scramble for emergency loans.
Season tickets will creep up once people process the idea of RCG and maybe Havili actually pulling on Broncos colours, which still feels like spotting a unicorn on Tooting High St. Some signings will click straight away, some will be learning experiences and one or two might be questioning their life choices by February, but for once it looks like we’re trying to build a squad that might survive more than three hamstring tweaks.

| Oh god yes. I was more commenting on how ridiculous it is that I'm getting nervous about having a too big squad after last year at the same point.

| Assuming there are no late curveballs, this looks very close to a settled London Broncos squad for 2026. It feels like a properly thought through group rather than an open ended churn, with a mix of retained players, targeted overseas recruits and a few familiar UK names brought in to add hard edge and consistency. The only real surprise for me is James Meadows, mainly because he splits opinion, but that doesn’t automatically mean a first team spot either. He could just as easily be squad depth or a reserves option, someone who helps you through the grind, covers injuries and adds competition for places without being guaranteed a starting role. That said, London rarely sit completely still, so it wouldn’t be a shock if one or two smart additions arrive later, particularly if injuries or visa timings create an obvious gap.
Reagan Campbell-Gillard from Gold Coast Titans (Marque signing?)
Siliva Havili from South Sydney Rabbitohs (Not confirmed?)
Neil Tchamambe from Wakefield Trinity (on loan)
Dean Hawkins from Parramatta Eels
Sadiq Adebiyi (retained)
Marcus Stock (retained)
Sam Davis from SalfordRD (ex-Broncos)
Jake Ramsden from Warrington Wolves
Bobby Hartley from Keighley Cougars/Leeds
Finley Glare from PNG Hunters
Morea Morea from PNG Hunters
Liam Tindall (retained)
Connor O’Beirne (retained)
Ben Hursey-Hord (retained)
Elliot Wallis from Castleford
Gairo Voro from PNG Hunters
Will Lovell (retained - part-time?)
Epel Kapinias from PNG Hunters
Jack Croft from Wakefield
Alex Walker (retained - part-time?)
Ted Davidson (retained)
Robert Mathias from PNG Hunters
Lewis Bienek (retained)
Emarly Bitungane from North Queensland Cowboys
Luke Smith from Canterbury Bulldogs
Jeremiah Simbiken from Castleford
Brandon Webster-Mansfield (retained)

| Right, the squad numbers are out and I have officially gone full kid with a sticker album. This is a proper “ooh go on then” list, loads of depth, plenty of bite, and more than a few names that scream 2026 is going to be lively. Now I just need to match half of them to actual faces before round one.
London squad numbers: 1 Morea Morea, 2 Elliott Wallis, 3 Rob Mathias, 4 Alex Max, 5 Liam Tindall, 6 Connor O’Beirne, 7 Dean Hawkins, 8 Reagan Campbell-Gillard, 9 Sam Davis, 10 Emarly Bitungane, 11 Luke Smith, 12 Jack Croft, 13 Siliva Havili, 14 Fin Glare, 15 Sadiq Adebiyi, 16 Epel Kapinias, 17 Marcus Stock, 18 Jimmy Meadows, 19 Ben Hursey-Hord, 20 Brandon Webster-Mansfield, 21 Will Lovell, 22 Alex Walker, 23 Gairo Voro, 24 Lewis Bienek, 25 Jeremiah Simbiken, 26 Neil Tchamambe, 27 Ted Davidson, 28 Bobby Hartley, 29 Jake Ramsden.

| Announcing the squad before the start of the season. Crazy. Here’s to 2026. Can’t wait.

| Traffic for this site generally appears to have dropped off a cliff but I was able to get on pretty easily today. Can’t work out how to set up a new thread though so….. Anyone else expecting this ST membership pack? Only just over a week to go so probably time they got on it. Looking forward to seeing how we go against Widnes. My prediction for the season is we win the League. (But after much soul searching the RL don’t promote us) Compete in the GF (bit early doors to say how that will go) and win the 1895 (which will be played in a recreation ground somewhere near Chorley…sigh). Up the Broncos.

Happy New Year BT & all the remaining die hards on here. Renewed my 2 STs for support although can't make Sunday games so won't be there for Widnes. Unless the PNG boys have died of frostbite, I expect us to go well but even if we win the thing i'm not sure the short sighted numptys up north will promote us. But if we're not in SL in 2027, I'd be satisfied with Bradford being in the Championship. I see with the sad demise for 2026 at least, Fev have been withdrawn. If I logged the fixtures correctly we were due to play them at the Stoop. Shame. BT, on the Broncos Forum page that lists the threads, if you go to the bottom of the page you can post a new thread from there. I'm still having problems with this sight which is a tad irritating.

| Happy New Year to you as well DC and all other forum regulars. Again it was pretty easy to get on the site so I encourage others to get back on board as it looks like a year with more positives than negatives for the first time in some time. And with that in mind I’m pleased to say my ST membership pack has as yet not appeared. I live in hope! Plus ca change

| Just seen that our warm up game against Keighley is off. So although we have a strong team on paper they’re going to be going into the new season cold - and not just because of the weather! Pity we didn’t try and get a second game booked with someone like Doncaster as I’m guessing their pitch has undersoil heating? perhaps something for the powers that be to consider next season?
