Summary:l

Wigan had dented Oldham's title chances on the Saturday and now they met their rivals Bradford away at Park Avenue. Amazingly, considering it was almost May, the game kicked off in sleety conditions and that led to a poor contest that had seen no score in the first half. Two converted tries second half won the match for Bradford and took them top of the table with two games to play. Broughton's title chances had pretty much been extinguished with defeat to Warrington the previous night.
