Summary:l
Fog and a heavy pitch made conditions awful for this
match at Thrum Hall. The home side led 3-0 at half time following a try from
Gledhill but a drop goal from Jim Leytham reduced that to 3-2 second half.
Although they pressed strongly, Wigan couldn't force another score to take
the win. Positive results on this day for Keighley and Leigh meant Wigan
were only three points above the drop zone, despite better form over recent
weeks.
