Summary:l
Wigan might not have been having a great season
themselves but were still 13 points clear of struggling Morecambe at the
bottom of the table. Wigan took the lead in the first half 3-0 after Peter
Foster got over following a scrum. In the second half Frank Dixon doubled
the lead and it proved well enough for victory.
