Leigh pressed heavily from the start but Wigan took a 3-0
lead after a penalty goal was kicked by Elijah Prescott. That lead held
until half time. Leigh then went down to 12 men early in the second half
after they lost a player to a shoulder injury. Wigan took advantage to find
a try from Bill Yates being converted by Prescott, completing the 8-0 win.
Try - 3 points. Conversion - 2 points. Drop Goal - 4 points. Penalty - 3
points. Goal from Mark - 4 points.
