Summary:l

This match had little riding on it other than the fact the victory meant Wigan finished the season two points clear at the top of the table. The drama was being played in Workington were a virtual play off decider was being played out between Workington and Bradford. The Yorkshire men won a tense battle 13-6 to set up a trip to Wigan in the play offs, a match that was also a curtain raiser to the Challenge Cup Final between the two at Wembley.
