Summary:l

Wigan sweated on this trip to Swinton and were trailing 10-6 late in the game. It was only a late try by Brian Nordgren that allowed them to snatch the victory but Johnny Lawrenson still had to convert to ensure it. He did that and it proved an important victory because the chasing Widnes, Bradford and Warrington all won again.
