This First Round cup tie was being held over two legs so
Wigan having a 5-4 deficit to take back to Central Park, especially having
trailed 5-0 at half time. Lowe had given them a 2-0 lead with a penalty in
the 5th Minute before K.Turner made it 5-0 with a 20th Minute try. Wigan
reduced the lead second half with two goals from Ted Ward.
