Summary:l

This was the only match in the entire Rugby League and Rugby Union program on this day that beat the cold weather. Wigan early might have wished they weren't playing when Liverpool Stanley took a 5-0 lead but the home side lost their player Kilgannon and that contributed to them falling away to a 35-5 defeat in the end.
