Four tries from Wigan's 18 year old Jack Taylor saw Wigan
win this game but they had to come back from conceding a lead to Salford in
the first thirty seconds when Edwards took in Watkins kick. Taylor scored
his first try just four minutes later and completed his hat-trick before
half time when Wigan led 15-3. That lead became 24-3 before Salford scored a
late consolation.
