Summary:l

Halifax were in no mood for this trip to Wigan having only played, and lost, a Challenge Cup Quarter Final replay the night before at Bradford. They put in a "shocking display" and Wigan took advantage to race into a 22-0 lead by half time. Halifax improved second half with three of the four tries scored after the interval only coming near the end.
