Summary:l

This victory sealed first place in the table for Wigan, even if they lost all of their remaining five league matches. Swinton took the lead here though with a try from Brockbank that was converted by Pearson. But Attie van Heerden responded with a score and Pearson for Swinton was injured soon after, which reduced them to 12 men. Wigan cashed in after that, building easily of their10-5 half time lead.
