Summary:l

Wigan made Broughton "look like a lot of Juniors" with this cup rout. Perhaps revenge was on the Wigan players minds after Broughton had beaten then 8-2 at their "Cliff" ground seven weeks earlier. They led 20-0 by half time and never stepped off the gas.
