Summary:l

This was the first Friday Night Sky fixture at Central Park with old foes Widnes the visitors. Wigan hadn't looked that impressive in the season so far but went top of the table with this defensive based win. Frano Botica was back for the first time this season and he opened the scoring with a 12th Minute try and conversion for 6-0. A Jonathan Davies penalty goal reduced that to 6-2 on 30 minutes but before half time a second penalty from Botica made it 8-2. That score held for the majority of the second half until a late try from Martin Offiah, against his old side, sealed the victory.
