Summary:

Wigan lost Frano Botica in the pre match warm up to what was diagnosed as a stomach muscle injury. He certainly wasn't missed for the first 40 minutes though with Wigan ripping Salford apart to lead 38-0 at half time. Salford found four tries second half for some respectability. Bradford still remained in second place but their good start to the season was now ripped apart with a 51-12 loss to St Helens at Odsal.
