Mixed feelings about this performance. Good in periods but also very casual in periods. But I do feel the lads will take a lot out of this try fest in terms of fitness.

David Vaealiki and Jerry Seuseu both made debuts as substitutes, whilst Kris Radlinski also played from the bench.

Again, like at Salford, we came out on fire. It took just seven minutes to get on the scoreboard. Kev Brown's break away was finished off by Stephen Wild and Danny Tickle converted to make it 6-0.

On 16 minutes Bryn Hargreaves scored to make it 12-0 and things were looking easy yet again. But for some reason we couldn't kick on and London hit back.

Two quick tries in three minutes brought London right back into the game. First Tyrone Smith and then Mark McLinden scored but full back Paul Sykes could only convert one, so Wigan still led 12-10.

Then on the half hour came a controversial moment which resulted in London taking the lead. Wigan looked to have trapped London in touch on half way but somehow they got the ball away and broke clear. Now I was on the opposite side in the shed so didn't see, but "CherryandWhite Chick" sat in the stand tells me that a London player had caught the ball outside the field of play and then ran back into the field!! This breakaway led to them switching the ball from right to left and Lee Greenwood strolling in the corner to give the Broncos a 14-12 lead. Sykes failed to convert.

Wigan should have regained the lead before half time. Vaealiki knocked on trying to get over the line. To be fair it was a head height ball he had to take but he'll be disappointed not to have scored. So the score remained 12-14 to London at half time and off I headed for a much needed warm brew (which disgracefully cost me £1!).

After the break Wigan came out a lot stronger. They had obviously had a rocket from Denis as the passes became more crisper and they began to run riot a little.

First Wayne Godwin scored on 45th minutes and then Sean O'Loughlin on 49. Kris Radlinski scored on 53 minutes and together with three Tickle conversions, the score was 30-14.

The onslaught continued with Locky getting a 2nd (61 mins) and then Bob Beswick (64). The score was now 40-14 and you're thinking, right lets get 50 on them!

But we eased off and London came back with 3 tries in a 6 minute spell. Solomon Haumono scored first then Adie Adebisi and then a third try on 74 minutes from Gary Peacham should have put pressure on Wigan, but Sykes could only convert one of those tries. So the rally proved to be too little too late with the score still 40-30 to Wigan.

Wigan then completed the afternoons work with a try from Harrison Hansen in the last minute, which Chris Melling converted to make the final score - Wigan 46 London 30.

So a good run out I felt. Jerry Seuseu looked very impressive on debut. He looked an absolute beast warming up and put in some great charges once he came on. Vaealiki had a quiet game although should have scored before half time.
