Leigh have ended Wigan's 100% record in the Senior Academy Championship with an amazing victory tonight at Hilton Park.

Leigh, who were bottom of the table having lost 8 in a row, battled hard to win 30-26. More when available.

Kris Radlinski and Danny Orr will return from long-term injuries in Saturday's home match against Warrington. Meanwhile Brian Carney will miss the game with a hamstring injury.

The Web Warriors extended there 13 month un-beaten run, and kept Chairman Bilko happy. In one of the best games of RL i have played in.

The Web Warriors showed true grit and determination to come back against all odds.

Shaun Wane's side bounced back from their first defeat of the year against Leeds, with a comfortable win at home to Hull at Orrell.

Adrian Lam's side won again at Orrell this afternoon, this time beating the old enemy St Helens.

James Coyle was the star man in what was a pretty comfortable victory.

Two late tries flattered the Leythers as Wigan finally scored some tries and ended a run of four defeats.

Leigh got scared of the dark amid floodflight failure in the second half as Wigan, whilst not perfect, always had too much for them.

Wigan welcome back Kiwi Centre David Vaealiki to the squad for Friday's game at Leigh, the centre hasn't figured since damaging his shoulder in the home game against Huddersfield. Liam Botham also returns after missing the cup game at St Helens.

But out is Kevin Brown with ankle ligament damage, he could be sidelined for anywhere upto 4-5 weeks, there is also a doubt again over Terry Newton.

Wigan have continued there re-building process for 2006 in signed 23 year old Iafeta Paleaaesina from New Zealand Warriors.

Front-rower Iafeta Paleaaesina has signed a "lucrative" three-year contract.
