IT is not often that a seven try to three bashing at Knowlsey Road is seen as a good result but these are strange times for us cherry and whites and in context of the 75 nil humiliation we had to endure in the challenge cup just three weeks ago it is a hefty leap in the right direction.

Wigan will host a Tri Nations match between Great Britain and Australia on Bonfire Night at the JJB Stadium.

Their had been rumours that the JJB would be replaced by the Reebok Stadium in Horwich but the RFL have stuck by the JJB.
Opinion: Carney will be no real loss.

Shaun Wane's juniors edged Saturday's curtain raiser at Robin Park Arena. They came back from 10-24 down at half time to remain top of the table. They are now outright leaders of the Junior Academy Championship after Leeds, who were joint top, lost. Click Read More.
