Venue: The Willows, Salford Competition: League
1. Gwyn Thomas, 2. Lew Bradley, 3. Bert Jenkins, 4. David Evans, 5. Bob
Neville, 6. George Owens, 7. Johnny Thomas
8. Rees Richards, 9. Arthur Francis, 10. George Hayward, 11. Percy

This was practically a decider for who which of the sides
would have home advantage when they met in the play offs a week later.
Salford dominated the game really and sealed second spot, meaning Wigan
would revisit The Willows a week later. Wigan could have fallen to fourth
with this defeat but ironically Hull were visiting Huddersfield which would
also turn into a play off repeat a week later and got smashed.
