Summary:l

This was a huge cup draw with 1st Placed in the League Table Huddersfield at home to 2nd Placed Wigan. Huddersfield were a mighty side but Wigan hadn't lost at Central Park since Huddersfield had last visited in January 1912. A huge crowd of 35,000, setting a new record attendance for a Northern Union match, outside of a final. Wigan opened the scoring with a Johnny Thomas drop goal for a 2-0 lead but by half time Huddersfield held a 3-2 lead after a try from Davies. Rosenfeld then crossed to make it 6-2 to the visitors but Wigan hit back with a Bert Jenkins try. That try should have put Wigan 7-6 in front but Thomas somehow managed to miss the conversion from back in front, so Huddersfield still led 6-5. Wigan never really got another chance and tries to Clark and Gleeson saw Huddersfield into the Quarter Finals.
