Summary:l
Frost and Fog had seen Wigan lame for 23 days
with four postponements since they had played Swinton on December 4th.
Saints had played on Christmas Day so Wigan were a little bit fresher here and Jim Sullivan had now recovered from his rib injury.
Tries from Eddie Holder and George Kershaw had helped Wigan into an 8-3 half
time lead with A.Kelly having responded for Saints. A try from Stan Powell
cut that lead down to 8-6 but Hector Gee's try took Wigan away to the
victory. 9,000 attended.
