Wigan were missing Jim Sullivan who had been
part of the squad for England's second test against Australia on this day.
They had won 13-3 over at Swinton but ironically Sullivan hadn't been
picked. This perhaps contributed to Barrow claiming their first ever win
against Wigan at Central Park.
