It was only 4-2 to Widnes at Half Time before
tries from Fred Simcock and Tommy McCue put Widnes into a 12-2 lead. Tries
from Hector Gee and Eddie Holder had seen Wigan draw level at 12-12 before
Widnes snatched the win with a try from Hugh McDowell in the 78th Minute.
