Prior to the Easter Weekend, this would be the
first of four matches within six days for Wigan and after losing to
Liverpool on the Saturday, they had work to do in the top four race. It was
a tight first half with Recs taking the lead after 24 minutes but two
unconverted tries each left it 6-6 at the break. But Wigan scored four tries
after half time and were not punished for poor kicking, Sullivan amazingly
only kicking one conversion out of six.
