Poor weather had seen postponements at Leigh, Warrington
and Wigan Highfield, so Wigan must have cursed the fact they were playing
over in Yorkshire against second placed Leeds because they fell to defeat.
Leeds had won this match pretty much by the 15th Minute. Harris, an
Australian right winger for Leeds, had scored a hat-trick in that time and
Wigan just couldn't fight back.
