Summary:l
Warrington were the better side for the opening half an
hour of this Cup Quarter Final at Central Park. A try from Dingsdale and
Penalty Goal from Holding had them 5-0 up. They came close to adding to that
lead, but right on half time Arthur Binks sent Johnny Ring over and Jim
Sullivan converted for 5-5. Wigan were much improved second half and went on
to record a good win. Losses elsewhere meant no Yorkshire side made the cup
semi finals, for the first time in the competitions history.
