Summary:l

Wigan welcomed top of the table Leeds to Central Park and it was a thrilling match, but sadly Wigan fell to another defeat. They led early 5-0 after a Roy Kinnear try and Jim Sullivan penalty goal but by half time Leeds held a 6-5 lead. Leeds stretched that to 9-5 early second half and that was held for the rest of the game. Such was the daftness of a points percentage decided league table, Leeds actually dropped a place in the table after this win, on account of Wakefield's points percentage improving better than Leeds because they had played two games less.
