Summary:l

Wigan managed to get their Lancashire Cup defeat out of their system with this midweek mauling of Hull KR at Central Park. Rovers actually took a 5-0 lead in the 7th minute with a try from Stamer and Conversion from Osborne. But two penalty goals from Jim Sullivan were added to by converted tries for Fred Oliver and John Sherrington before half time which put Wigan 14-5 in front. Stamer went off injured early second half and with a man advantage Wigan racked up five second half tries after Sullivan had kicked another penalty goal.
