Wigan lost David Booysen to injury after just 15 minutes
and, thus playing 13 v 12, that proved too big a handicap to overcome. By
Half Time Swinton had built a 15-0 lead and although Booysen returned for
Wigan after half time, it was far too big a deficit to chase down. Jim Sullivan scored a try on the
hour mark but in the end, Wigan's season ended meekly. |
