Summary:l
Jim Sullivan was now facing New Zealand for the third
side in five weeks after representing both England and Wales against them.
This was a tight contest first half with a Jim Sullivan penalty goal being
the difference in a 8-6 score than had seen neither of the sides two tries
converted. But early second half New Zealand had their full back Charles
Gregory stretchered off. His replacement Jack Kirwan also went off injured
soon after and once Wigan had a 13 v 11 man advantage, they raced away on
the scoreboard.
