Summary:l |
Wigan's Christmas day clash with Leigh had been called
off whilst Saints game at neighbours St Helens Recreation had gone ahead. So
Wigan were no doubt fresher on Boxing Day and it showed in the final score
with Wigan dishing out a hammering. Pre Christmas League leaders Batley
suffered a terrible Christmas. Having lost on the Saturday, they also failed
on Christmas Day and Boxing Day as well which saw them plummet down to
second place with Wigan taking over at the top. |
