The last game of the regular season. Wigan's top 4 play
off place was secure but they still needed to win this to ensure a home semi
final. Wigan "set about their task in determined fashion". Two penalties
from Jim Sullivan put them 4-0 up before tries from Tom Coles and Ted Smith.
Tussler replied for Leeds but Wigan had a good 12-3 lead at the break. Wigan
never looked back with a strong forward display taking them on to a 25-6
