Wigan were aiming to become the first team to complete a League, Challenge Cup & Premiership Trophy treble on a gloriously sunny day at Old Trafford. It was a tight first half in which Saints led 12-10 at the break but Saints wilted in the heat second half and once they were broken down by Wigan, they totally collapsed with some fabulous tries produced.

Half Time:l

Wigan 10 St Helens 12
