Wigan had a comfortable lead during the second half but Bradford's late rally wasn't enough to stop the two points from going back home to Central Park. Martin Offiah scored the first try of his Wigan career. Leeds were playing in the Regal Trophy Final against Widnes so Wigan went three points clear of them, though Saints win against Featherstone kept them close in second place.
