Wigan hadn't exactly been pulling up trees in leading 6-0 at half time but few would have expected the total turnaround after the interval that saw Wakefield win 13-6. Wigan may have been without Shaun Edwards, Frano Botica, Dean Bell, Gene Miles and Martin Dermott but it was still a poor response to their midweek Lancashire Cup Exit to St Helens.
