The start of the Lancashire Cup took Wigan as far away
from Lancashire as they could get with a draw to play London Crusaders away.
Their had been hopes of a repeat of Fulham's famous victory over Wigan 11
years earlier but their were no dramas this time. Wigan were already 20-0
after 33 minutes and coasted through the rest of the game.
