Leeds had made a poor start to the season and that run
continued here in this trip to Central Park. Though they might have been happy
having lost 74-6 on their previous visit in May. Former team mates Shaun
Edwards and Ellery Hanley were sin binned for fighting during the first half
but Wigan had control well before then. A second minute try from Andrew
Farrar got Wigan going and good work from Andre Stoop sent Dean Bell over
towards a 16-0 half time lead. A second try for Farrar put Wigan 20-0 up
with Leeds' only response coming from a Garry Schofield try in the 69th
Minute. Shaun Edwards completed the Wigan win with a late try.
