Davico goes under the knife. Posted by paul2e

The Warriors 31-year old Prop Luke Davico will have surgery later today on a torn pectoral muscle which he picked up during a pre-season friendly against Salford. This will be the second time which Davico has under gone this operation after suffering a similar injury last season while playing for the Canberra Raiders.
The operation will determine if Davico will ever return for the Warriors and it should not take the surgeon very long to discover the extent of the injury. A well informed source (Not HP, or Branston) has told me if the tear is in the same place or overlaps the previous tear, then it is very unlikely that Davico will return for the Warriors. The recovery period will be far too long.
